Capacity building for Municipalities in the frame of the Grant Scheme in Support to Earthquake Affected Areas

During December 2020, in the frame of the Grant Scheme in Support to the Earthquake Affected Areas, RDPA Team in collaboration with ADF have organized 2 trainings for the 7 awarded Municipalities: Kruja, Kavaja, Rrogozhina, Mirdita, Kamza, Lezha and Tirana.

The trainings focused on strengthening Municipalities’ staff capacities in managing the grant contracts, successfully implement projects and fully comply with procurement procedures. The trainings were delivered by national and international expertise, bringing the best hands-on experience and sharing practices in order to provide concrete and useful training modules.

Trainings were held online and were recorded in order to be shared with all participants.

During 2021, other trainings are planned to be held such as on reporting & monitoring, visibility and communication, in order to ensure the strengthening of Municipal capacities in the overall project implementation cycle.

RDPA Team in close collaboration with ADF aims at supporting Municipalities in regional development project identification/preparation and management, enhancing their competitiveness in accessing funds.
