First step finalised – Evaluation of Concept Notes in the frame of the Grant Scheme on Regional Development and Cohesion
Regional Development Programme Albania in close collaboration with Albanian Development Fund have finalised the first stage of the evaluation procedure for the applications delivered within the deadline of the Call for Proposals in the frame of the Grant Scheme for Regional Development and Cohesion.
61 applications were delivered within the 20th of August 2021, out of which 55 were delivered by Municipalities. Based on the number of applications received, it is of outmost importance to highlight the high rate of participation by Municipalities with a total of 83%. Out of 61 Municipalities, 47 successfully delivered an application to the Albanian Development Fund, which was responsible for the receipt and evaluation of the Concept Notes based on a clear evaluation procedure.
The first step of the evaluation process was carried out by an evaluation committee established within the Albanian Development Fund. Out of 55 applications, 20 concept notes have been recommended by the Evaluation Committee to continue with the preparation of the full application form. All Municipalities which responded to the Call for Proposals have been notified on the result of the first step of evaluation.
Municipalities invited to deliver the full project proposal need to apply within 15th of November 2021.
