
RDPA awards 16 Grants to Municipalities (Regional Pilot Grant Scheme)
In the framework of the RDPA Regional Pilot Grant Scheme, 16 grants were awarded to finance small-scale infrastructure interventions to the benefit of local communities.
The Regional Development Programme Albania is proud to announce the awarded projects (CLICK HERE FOR THE LIST) financed with EUR 822 000 by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Austrian Agency for Development. Selected Municipalities under the Regional Pilot Grant Scheme are Malësi E Madhe; Mirditë; Shkodër; Tropojë; Dibër; Durrës; Shijak; Tiranë; Belsh; Kuçovë; Librazhd; Ura Vajgurore; Fier; Këlcyrë; Patos and Vlorë (CLICK HERE for ‘Presentation of the Awarded Grants’).
These 16 projects aim to directly improve the socio – economic conditions of the local communities by providing small-scale local investment solutions through better educational, sport, tourism, social, cultural and community infrastructure.
47 applications were received under the Call for Proposals launched by RDPA on 11 April 2018 (CLICK HERE). After the evaluation, selection and contracting process carried out in close collaboration with the four Regional Development Agencies, 16 grants were awarded ranging between 31 800 and 60 000 EUR.
