The cycle of trainings for the winning Municipalities of the Grant Scheme in Support of the Earthquake Affected Areas continues

On February 5, 2021, Regional Development Programme Albania organized the training on “Control Management and Financial Reporting” under the Grant Scheme in Support of Earthquake Affected Areas. The training was attended by employees of the winning municipalities of the Scheme: Kruja, Lezha, Mirdita, Rrogozhina, Kavaja, Kamza and Tirana as well as representatives of the Albanian Development Fund.

The training aimed to increase the capacity of Municipal staff regarding the procedures and instruments of financial control and reporting, based on Albanian legislation and EU rules, to ensure the most efficient management of the grant scheme.

The training “Management control and financial reporting” was part of a series of activities aimed at building the capacity of local authorities in relation to grant management and efficient implementation of selected projects for a more concrete impact on the lives of local communities.
