“Zemër Labërie” project was successfully inaugurated!

Selenicë Municipality in partnership with the Association “Vajza”, on Saturday October 22, 2022, successfully inaugurated the works carried out for the rehabilitation of the center of the village of Vajza, Vlorë. The “Zemër Labërie” project is implemented by the municipality of Selenica within the framework of the grant scheme for Regional Development and Cohesion, implemented by the Regional Development Program Albania and the Albanian Development Fund, with the financial support of the Embassy of Switzerland in Albania and Austrian Development Agency.
In the presence of the Mayor of Selenica, Mr. Pëllumb Binaj, participants in the activity were the Swiss Ambassador, Mrs. Ruth Huber, the Prefect of the Qark, Mr. Flamur Mamaj, the Mayor of Vlora, Mr. Dritan Leli, the Deputy of the area, Mr. Vullnet Sinaj, the Mayor of Qark Mr. Ervis Mocka, Director of the “Vajze” Association Mr. Irfan Bilbilaj, Director of the “Labëria “Association Mr. Ago Nezha, Albanian cinematographer Mr. Ndricim Xhepa as well as many other personalities.
The project aims to highlight and promote the traditional, cultural and touristic values ​​of the area.
