Law on Regional Development and Cohesion

The Law on Regional Development and Cohesion was prepared by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Albanian Development Fund, following the reform undertaken by the Government since 2014 for the management of regional development.

The reform is defined as one of the key reforms, which contributes to the fourth pillar of the National Strategy for Development and Integration – Growth through sustainable use of resources and territorial development, and aims at balanced development and cooperation between the regions of the country, thus increasing the country’s global competitiveness.
