Second Meeting of the Inter-institutional Working Group for Chapter 22

On March 6, 2023, the second meeting of the Inter-institutional Working Group for Chapter 22 “Regional Policy and Coordination of Structural Instruments” took place in Tirana.

The meeting was held under the moderation of the Deputy Minister of the Interior, Mrs. Romina Kuko as Head of Negotiations for Chapter 22, supported by the Director of the Local Self-Government Support Agency – Technical Secretariat.

Participants in the meeting were representatives from institutions responsible for cohesion policy and other topics that reflect regional development, as well as representatives from the Regional Development Program, a co-financing of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), implemented in partnership with the Government of Albania. Currently, the Regional Development Program Albania is assisting the Agency for the Support of Local Self-Government – the Technical Secretariat for the organizational and coordination support of Chapter 22.
