The RDPA Project Steering Committee held on 10 December 2020

The Steering Committee of the Regional Development Programme was The Steering Committee of the Regional Development Program met virtually yesterday on December 10, 2020 with the presence of representatives from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, the Albanian Development Fund, the Embassy of Switzerland and the Austrian Development Agency, the Association of Albanian Qarks, the Association for Local Autonomy and the Association of Albanian Municipalities.

The RDPA Steering Committee brought together the main actors of the Programme, to discuss and reflect on the results and challenges of the programme so far and the plan of activities for next year. Among other things, a special emphasis during the meeting was placed on the process of raising awareness and informing development actors on Regional Development issues in Albania, a process which is expected to start very soon.

During this meeting, once again was emphasized  that this reform continues to be a priority of the Albanian Government and technical assistance in this area remains of particular importance, this considered not only at the national level, but also from the perspective of processes related to European integration.
